Smog covered Sha Tin yesterday. The host town for the Olympic equestrian events recorded an air pollution index reading of 173 and a maximum temperature of 36.6 degrees Celsius.
I will be watching the Individual Dressage Competition on Aug 9th live and keep my fingers crossed that the skies will clear up by then so that we can actually see the horses and not just sense their presence!
The SCMP reported today that HK was hit by its worst-ever air pollution since 2004. The index reading at Tap Mun Island was setting a record of 202.....and this after one of the longest cold snaps on record and the wettest june on record, it's crazy!
