They're Here......

Beijing has presented Ocean Park in Hong Kong with 2 cute Panda cubs on the occasion of the 10 year handover celebration coming up in July. They are 18 months old and named Le Le and Ying Ying and I can't wait to see them when they're open to public viewing. I'll attach the link to the podcast on the sidebar (HK Infos) or paste:

Where to go on another grey, polluted, humid day in Hong Kong? - to the HK Visual Arts Centre, where we explored a magnificent photo exhibition of Stefano Mangini. Born in Italy he lived all over Asia but mostly in Shanghai for a couple of years and decided to travel from China to Italy on his motorcycle. He took us on his impressive journey from China - Gebi-Desert - Pakistan - Iran - Turkey - Greece - Italy while covering roughly 25.000km in 150 days realizing his dream of traveling as a way of being. He took a lot of moving pictures and you can imagine how exciting and interesting it was to chat with him in person. Why doesn't someone just sponsor us to do the same thing ;-) ?? Hikes are not always fun

Well - not going on hikes, you definitely live safer than I do -
you won't believe it but during our hike along one of South
China's biggest water reservoirs in the New Territories last
saturday, I stumbled across some stairs and fell pretty hard
(of course in the midst of the hike, I still had to continue
for 7 km with a damaged foot because we were in the middle of
nowhere) so that I spent my sunday morning hopping to the
closest hospital and getting x-rayed.
Luckily nothing is broken but once again I tore my ligament,
this time on my left ankle. I have to take it slow for at least
3 weeks, will have to limp around on steep pebble streets in an
air cast and can forget about my remaining salsacise classes :-(
I could curse all day long because of that, sigh....

Now I have to rest the leg again, it should be high up which of
course it is not right now ;-) Ciao...........

Today's the Day..........

I finally attended the first of two classes to learn everything about creating your own blog and various blogging tools.....I am still working on perfecting my site, please stay patient......Rueschl
